Specification of metalized ceramic cover plates:
1. Forming methods: tape casting, slice casting, dry pressing, and
ISO pressing
2. Available material: Alumina(Al2O3), Aluminum nitride (AlN) and
Beryllia (BeO)
3. Size capability: min. size to be 1mm x 1mm, max. size to be
240mm x 280mm
4. Tolerance: thickness with +/-0.05mm. Length and width with
+/-0.5mm or better
5. Surface finish: metalizing, polishing, lapping and so on

Description of metallized ceramic cover plate:
Given the properties of good heat dissipation properties, minimum
electric resistance, and vacuum tightness, metalized ceramics are
ideal components for high vacuum, high voltage, and high-pressure
applications.
By applying a thin metallic coating(general Mo/Mn, or W) as a base
layer with high-temperature sintered, Furthermore, plated with
Nickel/Silver/Copper/Gold to the surface of the ceramic, the
bonding between ceramic parts and metal items can be achieved,
which is also known as ceramic metallization.
Tungsten and Moly-Manganese metallizations have higher adhesion to
the substrate than Thick-film metallization.

technical materials, it mainly includes alumina, aluminum nitride,
and beryllia ceramics. These ceramic substrates are shaped by tape
casting, ISO pressing or Dry pressing with a very dense body.
A variety of different patterns, different configuration metallized

grinding and so on. All these metallized ceramic plates offer to
tighten tolerance.
